- Again what if AI took over the world?(10 votes)
- AI, or Artificial Intelligence, is a field of computer science that focuses on creating machines that can "think" or learn like humans. This can include things like recognizing speech, learning, planning, and problem-solving.
But, just like your calculator can't decide to start doing your English homework, AI can't decide to take over the world. It's a tool, not a mind of its own. It's up to us, humans, to decide how we use that tool. That's why ethics in AI is so important!
We need to make sure we're using AI in a fair way, respects people's rights, and doesn't harm anyone. And that's a big job! It's like being a superhero for computers.

- I am at5:58, and I am seeing C-3PO. Besides that, my questions is about when should we start teaching our students how to responsibly use AI as the tool that it is? My thought is that we, as teachers, should have had enough experience using the tools offered before we present them to our students. I know that many students have already used AI and are doing so in the present, but to teach them to be responsible, it would seem most prudent for the teachers to know what they are talking about and see for themselves what AI can, and cannot do as well as what we should, and should not use it to do. Am I on par with the majority or am I in the minority in this?(1 vote)
